Community Guidelines

For: OldNock – buying and selling secondhand fashion

OldNock is a community for people who love secondhand fashion. These guidelines help keep the platform safe, fair, and enjoyable for everyone. By using OldNock, you agree to follow them.

1. Be respectful

• Treat other users as you would in person: no harassment, bullying, hate speech, or discrimination.
• Communicate politely in chat and in reviews. We may remove content or restrict accounts that violate this.

2. Honest listings (sellers)

• Accurate descriptions: describe the item’s condition, size, and any flaws clearly. Use photos that show the real item.
• Correct category and pricing: list items in the right category and at a price that reflects the item’s condition.
• Authenticity: do not list counterfeits or replicas as genuine. If authenticity is verified (e.g. via receipt), you can say so in line with our rules.
• Prohibited items: do not list items that are illegal, harmful, or not allowed on OldNock (e.g. certain restricted goods). We may remove listings and take action on accounts.

3. Fair buying (buyers)

• Only make offers or buy if you intend to complete the purchase. Repeated non-payment or abuse of offers may lead to restrictions.
• Pay within the agreed time when an offer is accepted (e.g. within 24 hours if that applies).
• Communicate clearly with the seller if there is an issue; use the platform for disputes where possible.

4. Safe and appropriate content

• Profile and listing content (photos, text) must be appropriate for a general audience. No nudity, violence, or offensive material.
• Do not share personal contact details (phone, email, social media) in listings or chat to bypass the platform or for unsupported transactions. We may hide or remove such content.

5. One account per person

• Use one account per person. Do not create multiple accounts to avoid restrictions or to manipulate reviews or sales.

6. No fraud or misuse

• Do not use OldNock for scams, fraud, or to mislead others (e.g. fake listings, non-delivery, or payment abuse).
• Do not use the platform to promote other services or spam. We may remove content and suspend or ban accounts.

7. How we enforce

• We may warn, restrict, or permanently ban accounts that break these guidelines or our Terms of Service.
• We may remove or hide content that violates our rules. In serious cases we may report to authorities.
• If you see something that breaks the rules, report it in the app. We take reports seriously.

8. Updates

We may update these guidelines from time to time. We will notify you of important changes in the app or by email where appropriate.
