Trust and Safety
Last updated: March 2025
OldNock works to keep the marketplace safe and fair for everyone. This page summarises how we do that and what you can do.
Our approach
- Policies: Our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines set the rules for using OldNock. Listings and behaviour must comply with them.
- Moderation: We review reported content and accounts and take action when something violates our policies (e.g. removal of listings, warnings, or account restrictions).
- Safety tools: We provide reporting, block, and support options so you can report problems and protect yourself.
For buyers
- Buy and pay through the platform so you can benefit from buyer protection where available.
- Check seller profiles and reviews. Use the in-app chat to ask questions before buying.
- If an item doesn't arrive or doesn't match the listing, report it and open a dispute as soon as possible.
For sellers
- List accurately and ship on time. Follow our Community Guidelines and Selling on OldNock guidance.
- Communicate clearly with buyers. Use tracking when shipping to protect yourself and the buyer.
- If you experience abuse or fraud, report it through the app.
Reporting
Use the Report option on listings, messages, or profiles when something violates our policies or the law. We review reports and take action where appropriate. For urgent or legal matters, contact support and, if needed, the relevant authorities.
