Terms of Service

By using OldNock ("the platform"), you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. The service

OldNock is a marketplace where users can buy and sell secondhand fashion and related items. We provide the platform; the contract for each sale is between the buyer and the seller. We are not the seller of items listed by users.

2. Account and eligibility

• You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract to use OldNock.
• You must provide accurate account and, where relevant, payment and identity information.
• You are responsible for keeping your password and account secure. Notify us if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Buying and selling

• Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of listings, the condition of items, and sending the item as described. Listings must comply with our Community Guidelines and must not include prohibited items.
• Buyers are responsible for reading listings and paying for items they purchase. You may make offers where the seller has enabled negotiation; if the seller accepts, you have a limited time (e.g. 24 hours) to complete payment at the agreed price.
• Fees: we may charge fees (e.g. buyer protection or seller fees) as shown in the app at the time of the transaction.
• Disputes: we may assist in resolving disputes but are not liable for the actions of buyers or sellers. Our buyer protection may apply in eligible cases as described in the app.

4. Payments and refunds

Payments are processed by our payment partners. Refunds and cancellations are handled in line with our policies and applicable law; you agree to our refund and cancellation terms as shown in the app.

5. Prohibited conduct

You must not:

• List prohibited or illegal items, or items that infringe intellectual property or others’ rights.
• Use the platform for fraud, harassment, or to circumvent our policies or fees.
• Scrape, automate access, or misuse the service in a way that harms the platform or users.

Breach of these terms or our Community Guidelines may result in suspension or termination of your account.

6. Content and intellectual property

• You grant us a licence to use, display, and distribute content you upload (e.g. photos, descriptions) for the purpose of operating the platform.
• You must not upload content you do not have the right to use. We may remove content that we reasonably believe violates these terms or the law.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, OldNock and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits or data arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability in connection with the service is limited as set out in applicable law.

8. Changes and termination

• We may change these terms; we will notify you of material changes (e.g. via the app or email). Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
• We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms or for other legitimate reasons. You may close your account at any time through the app or by contacting us.
