This page summarises how OldNock handles your data in a way that aligns with store data safety disclosures.
Data we collect and why

How data is used
- Service delivery: to run your account, listings, orders, payments, shipping, chat, and offers.
- Communication: order and offer updates, account and safety messages; marketing only with your consent.
- Safety and fraud: to enforce our rules, prevent abuse, and protect users.
- Improvement: aggregated analytics to improve the app (not to identify you personally in marketing).
Data sharing
- With other users: only what is needed for a transaction (e.g. delivery address to seller, name to buyer/seller when relevant).
- With service providers: we use partners for hosting, payments, shipping, email, and maps; they process data on our instructions and under agreements.
- For legal reasons: when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties for their advertising.
Security practices
- Passwords are stored in hashed form.
- Data in transit is encrypted (HTTPS/TLS).
- Access to personal data is limited and audited.
- We follow industry-standard practices to protect your data.
Your choices and rights
- In the app: you can update profile, addresses, and notification preferences; delete or edit listings; and view your data in account and order history.
- Rights: depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, or to object to certain processing. Contact us (e.g. privacy@oldnock.com) to exercise these rights.
Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active and as needed for the service, disputes, and legal obligations. After you close your account, we may retain some data for a limited period as required by law or for legitimate purposes.
Children
OldNock is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
