OldNock ("we", "our", "us") is a secondhand fashion marketplace. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our platform.
1. Information we collect
- Account and profile: name, email, password (hashed), profile photo, username, phone (optional), and address(es) you add for buying or selling.
- Listings: product photos, descriptions, prices, and delivery options you provide when selling.
- Transactions: order and payment details, shipping addresses, and communications related to purchases and sales.
- Communications: messages you send or receive in our chat (including offer negotiations), and any content you report.
- Device and usage: device type, OS, app version, IP address, and general usage (e.g. which features you use) to run the service and improve the app.
- Location: if you use “current location” for address, we use coordinates only to obtain an address via our provider; we do not continuously track your location.
2. How we use your information
- To create and manage your account, and to show your profile and listings to other users as you choose.
- To process orders, payments, and refunds, and to facilitate shipping and buyer protection.
- To run our offer and chat features (e.g. showing your name and messages to the buyer or seller in a conversation).
- To send you service-related emails (e.g. order confirmation, offer updates) and, with your consent, marketing and push notifications.
- To prevent fraud, enforce our Terms and Community Guidelines, and comply with law.
- To improve our app and services (e.g. analytics in aggregated form).
3. Sharing of information
- Buyers and sellers: we share the information necessary to complete a transaction (e.g. delivery address with seller, name and contact with the other party when required).
- Service providers: we use partners for hosting, payments, shipping, emails, and maps; they process data on our instructions.
- Legal and safety: we may disclose information when required by law or to protect the safety and rights of our users and platform.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties for their marketing.
4. Your rights
